Snoopy Café — Now Available in Tokyo

《Peanuts》 is celebrating its 65th anniversary, with many commemorative events and special initiatives taking place around the world. In addition to the limited-time SNOOPY Museum scheduled to open in Tokyo in March 2016, a SNOOPY-themed “PEANUTS Café” will also debut in October 2015 by the lush green banks of Tokyo’s Meguro River.

The “PEANUTS Café” is located by Tokyo’s Meguro River and is set to open on October 2. This two-story standalone building features an interior design inspired by the U.S. West Coast, which has strong ties to the *Peanuts* series. The first floor primarily serves as a café space, where playful comic motifs and vibrant neon lights create the cheerful atmosphere characteristic of the *Peanuts* universe. The second floor offers a variety of Snoopy toys and vintage collectibles, giving visitors the feeling of stepping into a secret base from the comics. The area is also adorned with lush greenery, offering a distinct ambiance compared to the first floor.

For food, the PEANUTS Café offers American West Coast-style desserts, coffee, and family-style meals inspired by the adorable Snoopy and Woodstock. There is also a wide selection of beverages. The café will also sell various ceramic tableware, mugs, and exclusive café merchandise featuring Snoopy designs. Fans of *Peanuts* planning a trip to Tokyo after October shouldn’t miss a visit to the “PEANUTS Café” by the Meguro River.
