Typhoon Wutip (No. 2, international name WUTIP) is a mild tropical storm, with its center located at 4.80°N, 154.60°E, on the sea surface about 1,450 kilometers southeast of Guam, moving northwestward at a speed of 19 km/h. It is currently not expected to affect Taiwan.

From daytime on the 20th to the 21st, a frontal system will be over the northern seas of Taiwan; on the 20th, there will be localized brief showers in the eastern half and northern mountainous areas of Taiwan, while other regions, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with localized brief showers in the mountainous areas of central and southern Taiwan in the afternoon; on the following day, there will be localized brief showers in the northern and eastern parts of Taiwan, scattered brief showers in central and southern Taiwan, as well as in Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu.

Starting from the evening of Thursday the 21st, as the frontal system passes and the continental cold air mass moves south, the weather in the north and northeast will turn colder, with temperatures around 15°C; there will be brief showers or thunderstorms in the northern and northeastern regions, as well as in Kinmen and Matsu, localized brief showers in the eastern and southeastern regions, and scattered brief showers in central and southern Taiwan as well as in Penghu. The weekend weather forecast is generally expected to follow the pattern seen on Friday.
