Taoyuan’s Daxi district experiences a “September snowfall”! Every year around the Mid-Autumn Festival, a sea of white Chinese chive flowers quietly blooms in Longtan and Daxi, attracting many cyclists to stop and enjoy the dreamy rural scenery. The Chinese chive flower field, with a blooming period of about one month, can be admired from the nearby Yingge bicycle path. Gazing at the vast expanse of white blooms spread across the fields like snow, swaying gently in the wind with a distinct northern charm, visitors can't help but feel enchanted.

When autumn arrives, Chinese chives begin to bloom with their white flowers, and farmers finish their harvesting and sales work. In specialized Chinese chive growing areas such as Ruiyuan and Zhongxin, a vast white landscape unfolds, with the delicate white blossoms dancing in the wind as if celebrating the arrival of autumn. It’s like a festive celebration of the joy of harvest. Daxi Town has about 150 hectares of Chinese chive cultivation, with 70 hectares concentrated in the Zhongxin specialized growing area. As a result, walking through Zhongzhuang streets, you can catch the fragrant scent of Chinese chive flowers in the air.
