JR West Japan has launched a brand-new sightseeing train called the "Bridal Curtain," decorated in the noble traditional festive colors of red, gold, and black. The front and sides of the train feature delicate and elegant carvings, giving it a very festive and pleasing appearance. This train officially began service in October on the Kanazawa–Wakura Onsen route. It travels at a slower speed than regular trains, allowing passengers more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the windows.

The "Bridal Curtain" operates between Kanazawa and Wakura Onsen. Its journey takes 20 minutes longer than that of a regular limited express train, with a total round-trip duration of 80 minutes. The train has a total of 52 seats, allowing passengers to admire the picturesque scenery along the way from inside the carriage. The interior also incorporates the red, gold, and black color scheme that matches the exterior design, presenting a traditionally Japanese festive ambiance throughout, offering a unique charm.
