The 2015 Deyuanpi Dutch Village Windmill Festival took place from October 8 to 25. During the event, the park featured a variety of installation art exhibits, including large Dutch mini windmills akin to the Tokyo Skytree. Enormous colorful paper windmill displays evoked joyful memories for visitors of all ages. There were Dutch dolls and little calves posing for photos, as well as countless tiny windmills spinning in the breeze, forming cute tulip and cow patterns on the ground that beckoned to children.

The Tainan City Government has planned a “Dutch Village” by Deyuanpi Lake, blending local characteristics with global charm, allowing visitors to enjoy a relaxing and pleasant European countryside vibe without boarding a plane. The park features numerous branching waterways, dotted with charming bridges such as the Van Gogh Bridge. In addition to authentic imported Dutch windmills, there are many hidden attractions waiting to be discovered. During the Windmill Festival holidays and weekends, visitors can pick up a game brochure in the park, collect stamps from six featured attractions, and exchange them for lovely souvenirs at the tourist service center.
