The 2019 Taipei Lantern Festival kicked off in the vibrant Old City of West Taipei and now there are just six days left. In addition to amazing lantern displays, participants in the Taipei City Government’s digital stamp-collecting event can win great prizes worth over a million NT dollars in total.

During the event period, simply join the official LINE@ account of the “Taipei City Government” to participate in the event and enter the grand prize draw. Prizes include EVA Air tickets, HTC smartphones, Daikin air purifiers, and shopping credits from Eastern Home Shopping, among other attractive rewards. QR codes for collecting stamps are available at all lantern zones.

After joining the official LINE@ account of the “Taipei City Government,” you’ll see a dedicated page during the lantern festival period. Once you access the menu, the digital stamp-collecting map will appear. Then you can go to various locations to scan QR codes and take part in the stamp-collecting activity.

The digital stamp-collecting locations are divided into three areas: “Lantern Zone Stamp Area,” “Friends Stamp Area,” and “Shopping District Stamp Area.” Collecting a total of 10 stamps across these three areas every day gives you a chance to enter the lucky draw.

Each area has a minimum required number of stamps to collect. Digital stamp-collecting is divided into three parts: collect 4 stamps from the 10 designated points in the “Lantern Zone Stamp Area,” 3 stamps from the 10 designated points in the “Friends Stamp Area,” and 3 stamps from the 10 designated points in the “Shopping District Stamp Area.” Once you’ve collected a total of 10 stamps across all three areas, you’ll receive a serial number to enter the lucky draw.
