Teresa Teng’s fresh and sweet image remains vivid in the minds of her fans. The Taipei Explorer Dome recently launched the “When Will You Return – Teresa Teng Cultural Relics Memorial Exhibition,” allowing many who miss her to learn more about her story.

A special virtual performance exhibition of Teresa Teng is set up on the first floor of the Taipei Explorer Dome. The Hollywood visual effects team used virtual imaging reconstruction technology to recreate the beautiful image of Miss Teresa Teng performing her classic song “Sweet Honey Honey.” Dressed in an elegant red velvet gown with a white fur shawl, Teresa Teng’s lifelike performance and moving presence allow the public to relive those wonderful moments.

The green gemstone necklace on display was given to Teresa Teng by her mother, and she cherished this piece of jewelry very much. In addition, a special exhibit includes a Teresa Teng memorial album gold vinyl record, made from Au999 pure gold and first issued globally in 2014 with a limited run of 3,000 copies. The number 1953 on the front dial represents Teresa Teng’s birth year, while the hour and minute hands pointing to 1:29 represent her birthday, January 29. The 13.14 grams of gold symbolize “one life, one lifetime” (1314 in Chinese), as her voice will always be worth remembering.

Teresa Teng’s military performance record remains unmatched. Items on display include the camouflage uniform, helmet, as well as the white navy uniform and orange air force flight suit she wore. This special exhibition allows visitors to recall Teresa Teng wiping sweat for soldiers standing guard by the seaside or singing solo for on-duty guards. The rich collection of exhibits takes visitors on a journey through time, reliving the wonderful Teresa Teng era.

Venue: Special Exhibition Hall, Taipei Explorer Dome (second floor)
Notes: Photography is prohibited in the exhibition area, and no food or drinks are allowed.

In response to overwhelming public enthusiasm and requests to extend the exhibition period, the Tourism Bureau has extended the exhibition until January 22. During the extension period (January 12–22), the first 100 visitors each day can receive a complimentary commemorative brochure at the Special Exhibition Hall of the Taipei Explorer Dome.
