As autumn deepens, the season for maple leaf viewing quietly arrives. Nantou’s Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area boasts the country’s largest sweet gum forest and is also known as the “hometown of maple leaves...”

To welcome the arrival of the maple leaf viewing season, the Aowanda area has also recommended 10 of the most representative maple viewing spots within the park, so everyone can get prepared in advance.
