During the rainy season in South Korea, heavy rain can last for several weeks, confining most people indoors. To change the perception of rainy days, local designers launched the “Monsoon Project” (Project Monsoon), using hydrochromic ink to paint cute underwater world patterns in the alleys of downtown Seoul. They hope this small creative touch in daily life will allow people to see these colorful roads during the rain and chase away their gloomy moods.
