From Christmas to New Year’s every year, Hong Kong buzzes with energy, attracting tourists from around the globe to soak up the festive atmosphere. In particular, Harbour City’s Christmas light displays in the outdoor plaza of Ocean Terminal during the holiday season are part of the collective memory for many Hong Kong people and have become one of the must-visit attractions during Christmas.

This year, Harbour City’s Christmas lights coincide with the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong Disneyland, transforming the outdoor plaza of Ocean Terminal into the “Happily Ever After” Christmas Street and the “Christmas Fantasy Theatre,” immersing visitors in the magical Christmas spirit of Disneyland. Nearly 40 Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Queen Elsa, and Princess Anna will join everyone in celebrating the festive season.

The four major highlights of this year’s Harbour City event include:
● Giant Christmas Tree Archway and Gift Boxes
The entrance to Harbour City’s “Happily Ever After” Christmas Street features a giant Christmas tree archway over 40 tonnes tall, composed of various uniquely shaped stars, with a three-dimensional Mickey Mouse ornament hanging at the top, instantly filling visitors with Christmas cheer from the moment they arrive. The shops lining the street are beautifully decorated with Christmas-themed window displays, while a row of shops near the waterfront are adorned with red ribbons of different patterns on their exterior walls, and their rooftops feature Christmas messages made from light bulbs, transforming them into giant gift boxes.
● Disney Christmas Windows

Three special Disney Christmas windows are set up along the Christmas Street, bringing the festive spirit to life through various Disney stories and offering a sneak peek at three new attractions and exclusive merchandise celebrating the park’s 10th anniversary. Classic Disney storybooks showcase the new Broadway-style musical “Mickey and the Magical Map,” where Mickey Mouse and Goofy will perform an excerpt from the show’s most exciting scene. Characters from *Frozen*—Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and the lovable snowman Olaf—will also make appearances. The ever-popular Tsum Tsum characters will be transformed into a giant cake to celebrate the park’s 10th anniversary.

● Meet Disney Friends and Follow Mickey’s Footsteps
Disney characters will appear throughout Harbour City’s “Happily Ever After” Christmas Street. Through unique lighting effects, visitors can enjoy romantic encounters with characters from *Inside Out*, *Snow White*, *Beauty and the Beast*, *Cinderella*, *Alice in Wonderland*, and *Tangled*, such as Rapunzel, and take magical silhouette photos at the Christmas party-themed shops.
 

Additionally, a host of Disney characters will also be found in the VIP seats of the dazzling “Christmas Fantasy Theatre,” including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Disney bears Duffy and ShellieMay, Woody and Buzz Lightyear from *Toy Story*, Rex the dinosaur, the Green Army Men, Hamm the piggy bank, Mike and Sulley from *Monsters, Inc.*, and more.
