The annual Caoling Historic Trail Silvergrass Season takes place enthusiastically from November 7 to November 29 along the Caoling Historic Trail. This year marks the 14th edition of the Caoling Historic Trail Silvergrass Season, inviting visitors to hike to the “Yakou” and “Tiger Character Stele” sections of the ancient trail to admire the magnificent sight of silvergrass covering the mountain.

During this year’s Silvergrass Season, the “Dali Tian Gong Temple Peace Porridge for Peace” event is being held on the trail, and on regular holidays, lottery tickets will also be distributed at “Yakou” (pavilion viewpoint). Visitors can drop their lottery tickets into the draw boxes at the Fulong and Dali Visitor Centers for a chance to win prizes such as an iPhone 6s (5.5-inch), accommodation vouchers, and more. The list of winners will be announced on December 15 on the “2015 Caoling Historic Trail Silvergrass Season” website.

Additionally, the Northeast Coast & Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration has launched shuttle buses during regular holidays of the Silvergrass Season, running from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM between the Fulong Visitor Center and Yuwangkeng Entrance, and from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM between Fulong and the Dali Visitor Center. Visitors can also take the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Golden Fulong Line” for more travel options.
