Dulluan Railway Station was established in 1992 but was closed in 2006 due to low passenger traffic and operational pressure. However, after its closure, the station gained a sense of quiet and mystery. With the addition of the vast, azure beauty of the Pacific Ocean, this almost hidden paradise has attracted many visitors to admire the scenery, bringing renewed attention to the station and turning it into a popular tourist spot. Now, Taiwan Railways sees business potential and there are internal discussions about reopening the station after the electrification of the South-Link Line. However, Taiwan Railways has stated publicly that further planning and discussion are still needed on this matter.
