The "Southern Taiwan Sightseeing Passport," jointly issued by the Southern Taiwan Joint Service Center of the Executive Yuan, the Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan Joint Service Center, and the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, has entered its tenth edition. These three organizations serve as a resource integration platform for the seven counties and cities in southern Taiwan, joining forces with over a hundred tourism industry players in the region to promote the area. They publish materials and distribute them at transportation hubs across Taiwan for free public collection. Distribution points include rest areas along national highways, train stations, high-speed rail stations, metro stations, post offices, and Tourism Bureau visitor centers. Additionally, these materials were distributed in 2015 at the International Travel Fair as well as overseas locations such as Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Malaysia. Digital versions including an e-book and an app have also been launched, allowing travelers to download them for free. Even without obtaining a physical copy, users can still make full use of the content.
