The massive red flower is located in Vallero Square in the heart of Jerusalem. Designed by architecture firm HQ Architects, it is an installation created by the local government to enhance urban space. Standing 9 meters tall with a vivid red hue, the enormous flower stands out prominently in the city square. In fact, this giant flower is an artistic streetlamp. It blooms or stays closed based on air sensors. Power is transmitted through its stem from underground, and when someone stands beneath it or a tram passes by, fresh air is pumped into the calyx, causing the flower to bloom.
