The Lily Sea in Houli Bursting with Color, Free Admission on Weekends

To promote local flowers, the Houli Farmers' Association in Taichung is hosting the "What a Floral Splash" event on November 28 and 29. In addition to admiring nearly 40 varieties of blooming lilies, the event will also feature activities such as sketching competitions and flower arrangement workshops in coordination with the flower fields. During the event period, the lily sea area offers free admission, providing another great spot for flower viewing besides the Xinshe Flower Sea on weekends.

Due to the warmer autumn and winter this year compared to previous years, the lilies, which usually bloom in early November, have delayed their blossoming by more than half a month. The "What a Floral Splash" event on November 28 and 29 will showcase over 30 varieties of lilies, including perfume lilies, trumpet lilies, and dwarf lilies, along with activities such as sketching competitions, flower arrangement workshops, and challenge experiences. Take advantage of the two days of free admission and go for a visit. In addition, various other flowers are in full bloom in the park, and the expansive 5-hectare colorful flower field is definitely a must-see attraction.
