With the festive Christmas spirit in full swing, various locations across Taiwan have launched themed Christmas events to celebrate the season warmly. This year, Taoyuan Tamashiro Shopping Mall has collaborated with the ultra-adorable Hello Kitty to launch the “Ice Field Fantasy Journey” art installation exhibition, which will be open from now until January 4, 2016, giving everyone a chance to play with Hello Kitty.(Update: The event has been extended to February 14, 2016, and admission is free)

Located in southern Taoyuan, Tamashiro Shopping Mall has partnered with popular cartoon characters every Christmas and New Year period to launch limited-time exhibitions. Following previous collaborations featuring SpongeBob, “Barbie,” and “Disney” installations since 2013, this year the mall has once again teamed up with Hello Kitty for the Ice Field Fantasy Journey installation, expected to attract both kids and adults alike for another pilgrimage.
