Check the online check-in opening time for your flight in advance, especially when you're abroad — it's best to download the airline app or complete the online check-in process while you have internet access.
2. Print your boarding pass early
Printing or downloading your boarding pass before departure can save time at the airport. You can also use apps like Passbook (iOS) and PassWallet (Android) to store your boarding pass on your phone.
3. Make good use of the airline’s app
Using a pre-downloaded airline app usually consumes less mobile data and is often easier to navigate than the airline’s website.
4. Staying connected abroad is cheaper than you think
Mobile networks are increasingly convenient — even abroad, you can easily use your phone for navigation and travel research. In addition to applying for roaming services from your carrier or buying a local SIM card, you can also rent a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.
