As Christmas and New Year’s approach, cities around the world are decking themselves out with dazzling decorations to create festive atmospheres. Recently, Bangkok has launched the “Bangkok Winter Light Festival,” where you can enjoy numerous large-scale celebrations including adorable and heartwarming Disney-themed Christmas light displays, as well as exotic Christmas winter towns that are highly anticipated. In addition, downtown Bangkok has been transformed into a glittering fairy-tale world, with millions of colorful lights illuminating the area into a magnificent magical realm.

●Central World Transformed into a Disney Fairy-Tale World
The renowned Central World mall has been transformed into a Disney fairy-tale world from now until January 15, 2016, featuring an imaginative space designed around the theme of joyful fairy tales. Meanwhile, 29 malls under the Thai Central Group CPN will also be decked out as fantastical wonderlands, creating an unprecedented fairy-tale ambiance. Iconic Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Queen Elsa from Frozen, and Rapunzel will make appearances, allowing all visitors to not only enjoy the vibrant light designs but also immerse themselves in the enchanting parades and parties of Disney cartoon characters.

In addition to the stunning lights and grand cartoon character parades, the mall has partnered with brands to use aromatherapy technology to create the “Pink Land,” transforming the area into an ocean of floral fragrance. Moreover, during Christmas, visitors can admire the tallest Christmas tree in Southeast Asia, created by Central World.
