On the 22nd, Taiwan experienced its warmest winter solstice in 67 years, while on the 23rd, Hokkaido, Japan, entered the coldest day of winter so far, with temperatures in the cities of Furano and Asahikawa dropping to a chilling minus 21.5 and 17.2 degrees respectively, transforming the landscape into a fairytale-like silver-white world. In some areas, the rare Diamond Dust phenomenon even appeared, leaving onlookers in awe of its dreamy beauty.
