This one-of-a-kind Starbucks branch not only boasts special decor but has also been the first to launch four exclusive winter-flavored drinks. It has attracted many customers coming to pay homage, and White Winter Starbucks will be open through mid-January 2016.

This all-white Starbucks—White Winter Starbucks—in Tokyo’s Shinjuku Nantai area is a limited-time winter pop-up store that takes advantage of the festive holiday season. Unlike the usual warm, wooden ambiance of traditional Starbucks branches, this time, the existing store has been transformed into a completely reimagined space, dressed in silver-white tones to create an ultra-pure world reminiscent of snow. And the interior design doesn’t stop there—the walls are covered with pure white sound-absorbing materials, offering visitors a serene sensation as if they’re in a snowy plain. In contrast to the acoustic panels, some parts of the store feature speakers playing “sounds of the cold winter,” and in the evenings, the shop is softly lit to simulate the reflection of moonlight on a snowy landscape, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the romance of a wintery snow scene.

In addition to launching this limited-time themed store, Starbucks also didn’t forget to introduce special drinks, including flavors such as Choco-Latte Crumble Cocoa and Choco-Latte Crumble Cocoa Frappuccino, so that even in the snowy white winter, customers can still enjoy richly aromatic coffee and create warm memories.
