Fuji View Express (富士山ビューストレイン), the flagship event of its 90th-anniversary celebration series in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, is set to debut in spring 2016, replacing the retiring Fuji Excursion 2000 Series that bowed out in February. The Mt. Fuji View Express (富士山ビューストレイン) was designed by designer Shiro Ogasawara, who also designed the exterior of the Mt. Fuji Ropeway train. The train features large windows, offering sweeping views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mt. Fuji.
