3D murals bring fun to scenic spots, and when they appear on school campuses, they can also add a touch of liveliness to what is usually a serious learning environment. Recently, a series of lifelike 3D mural works have emerged on the campus of Jiari Elementary School in Hualien County, featuring not only a 3D airport waiting room but also airplanes and views of Qixingtan, attracting many visitors and students to take photos together.

The Xincheng Township Office in Hualien County carried out a mural project on the soundproof wall of the air force airport access road at the entrance of Jiari Elementary School, adding more interactivity between the once-ordinary wall and visitors. Here, visitors can pretend to be sitting in an airport waiting room waiting for a flight, with the blue sea of Qixingtan behind them, along with the company of dolphins and crabs, expected to become a new attraction in Hualien.

Besides Jiari Elementary School, other schools that have sparked discussion through mural-decorated campuses include Ruifang Liantong Elementary School and Changhua Cuntung Elementary School, which used ocean-themed and giant illustrated book concepts respectively, turning their campuses into imaginative worlds and making going to school a fun experience.
