Harbin, located on the border between Russia and Mongolia, experiences ice and snow conditions for five months of the year. Now in its 32nd year, this year’s event is themed “Pearl on the Ice Crown,” featuring a 750,000-square-meter exhibition area that includes ice sculptures and light displays. Visitors are advised to come in the evening when every ice sculpture is illuminated from within with rainbow-colored lights, creating a dazzling, ever-changing spectacle of light and ice.
