EVA Air has achieved another milestone in flight safety. The authoritative German aviation safety data center JACDEC (Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre) recently released the 2015 global ranking of the safest airlines, and EVA Air was once again recognized, ranking third in the world for the second consecutive year.

Following its recent recognition as the world’s safest airline by the renowned international aviation website AirlineRatings.com, EVA Air’s safety standards have once again been affirmed by an international professional organization. JACDEC is a professional aviation safety data analysis agency that annually evaluates major global airlines based on factors such as years of operation, statistics on major accidents over the past 10 years, and the number of aircraft losses over the past 30 years. It selects the 60 safest airlines, with the full ranking to be published tomorrow and featured in the professional aviation magazine AERO International. Since its establishment, EVA Air has maintained a safety record of “zero” aircraft losses and “zero” fatalities. Since 2003, it has repeatedly received professional recognition from JACDEC and AERO International, ranking among the top ten safest airlines in the world. This year, it has retained last year’s outstanding performance and was ranked third.

Among the top ten airlines selected this time, six have seen changes in their rankings, indicating fierce competition in the 2015 evaluation. EVA Air’s repeated achievements over the years are indeed remarkable. In addition to EVA Air, this year’s top ten safest airlines also include two other Star Alliance members: Air New Zealand and TAP Portugal.
