To welcome cherry blossom season, Tokyo’s most iconic tourist attraction, Skytree, has implemented a special illumination from March 1 to April 10. Bathed in soft pink, cherry blossom-colored lights, it adds a touch of romantic ambiance to Tokyo’s spring nights.

Tokyo Skytree always holds special illumination events during unique seasons or holidays. This time, to celebrate the cherry blossom season in March and April, it has introduced a two-phase special illumination campaign from March 1 to April 10. The first phase runs from March 1 to 18, themed “Blossom,” using soft pink lights to depict the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The second phase, from March 19 to April 10, themed “Dance,” features deeper pink lights that showcase the fluttering motion of falling petals.
