This year’s featured theme country is Hungary, located right at the heart of Europe. With 15 Nobel Prize laureates to date, including one Nobel Literature Prize winner, Hungary is a country brimming with talent and creativity in both literature and science. The Hungary-themed pavilion collaborated especially with Balassi Institute, Hungary’s foremost cultural promoter, presenting a diverse range of publications that fully showcase the country’s publishing and cultural landscape.

In addition to the Hungary-themed pavilion, other exhibition areas were equally captivating, featuring special exhibitions such as the Eileen Chang Special Exhibition, the Taipei World Design Capital Special Exhibition, the Taipei International Original Exchange Exhibition, the Literature and Art Book Section, the Taiwan Publishing Theme Pavilion, the Jimmy Liao VR New Vision Experience Zone, and the Children’s Picture Book Theme Pavilion. This year also saw the launch of the brand-new “Back-to-School Fun Book Fair” activity. With its all-encompassing content, educational and entertaining experience, and free admission for visitors under 18, the fair showcased the abundant reading energy from both home and abroad.
