Since 2013, the CMP Block True Art and Culture Foundation has launched the Hope Lighting Campaign, inviting everyone to adopt love-themed lamp cups for creative expression, adding hopeful paintings on them, and displaying the lamp cup artworks across lawns and treetops. Now the CMP Block Museum in Taichung has transformed into a “Power Station of Hope,” connecting 5,000 light decorations from the lawn to the treetops, creating the most beautiful and heartwarming seascape of lights. The event runs from now until March 6.

This edition of the CMP Block Museum’s “Power Station of Hope” event generates a current of hope through participants’ handwritten warmth and acts of kindness, forming a source of comforting energy. 5,000 lights of hope cover the site, each one bearing wishes hand-painted by participants, transforming the CMP Block Museum into a luminous forest radiating warmth and hope. The Great Living Room exhibition area serves as the convergence point for all the light currents in the venue. Laser beams projected from the 16th floor weave through the surrounding buildings, constructing layered spatial and architectural interplay. When night falls, the interlacing lights transform the space into a green-light forest emerging from the darkness, shining brilliantly over the entire starry sky.
