Day 1Samcheong-dong Street → Tongin Market → Seochon → Gyeongbokgung Palace → Bukchon Hanok Village → Insadong → Jongno
● Samcheong-dong Street
With its traditional Korean hanok architecture infused with modern elements, Samcheong-dong is one of Seoul’s most picturesque neighborhoods and a favorite among couples. Here, you can easily get captivated by beautiful murals and delicate items—even ordinary flower shops and quaint cafes make for great photo spots. The whole area feels like a gallery, and you can easily lose track of time as you stroll around.

● Tongin Market
Tongin Market was featured on the MBC variety show "Infinite Challenge," and it’s especially famous for its deep-fried tteokbokki and tteok galbi (rib patties). When visiting Tongin Market, be sure to check out the “Lunchbox Cafe.” Here, you can freely pick your favorite snacks from the market and pay using special copper coins—an experience that’s both unique and fun.

● Seochon
Seochon, named for its location west of Gyeongbokgung Palace, has long been known as a hub for artists. Unlike the atmosphere of Bukchon Hanok Village, Seochon features hanok houses with a distinctly different vibe, alongside modern buildings. Among them, a music box shop built in a contemporary style gained fame as a filming location for the MBC popular drama “She Was Pretty,” becoming a new highlight for visitors to Seochon.

● Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace is an absolute must-see when visiting Seoul. As the principal royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty, it is best known for its vast grounds and orderly arrangement of grand buildings. It’s recommended to visit during the changing of the guard ceremony at the main gate. The ceremony takes place daily (except Tuesdays) at 10:00, 13:00, and 15:00, each lasting about 15 minutes—you definitely don’t want to miss this impressive display. After the ceremony, take your time exploring the beautifully crafted structures inside the palace.
