Surrounded by vast green mountains and forests, Dunton Hot Springs looks like a paradise on earth. In the 1870s, this place was once a thriving mining town, but as the mining industry declined, residents gradually left. By the 1950s, the population had plummeted to fewer than 600 people, turning it into a ghost town. It wasn’t until 1994 that wealthy owners, captivated by the beautiful surroundings, restored the small town and transformed it into the Dunton Hot Springs Resort, breathing new life into the land.

There are a total of 11 cabins available for accommodation, forming a quaint little village. The resort features a ballroom, library, yoga and massage room, large living room, and comfortable hot spring facilities. These high-end amenities almost make you forget that this was once a lifeless ghost town.
