Must-try food stalls in the twin cities – dumpling lovers can't miss this

Honestly, it's quite rare for me to recommend street food snacks. But I really had to check out this place, "Hong Dumplings & Beef Noodles," after seeing so many strong recommendations. So I finally went on a day I had free.

It doesn’t seem to be open during the day — my friend Pipi and I came in the morning but couldn’t find it after searching for ages. Thankfully we came back in the evening and spotted it right away. It’s not hard to find actually, since there’s always a steady stream of takeout customers buzzing around the stall. The Hong Dumplings stall is mainly located in front of the Shabu-Shabu Ichidai branch.

"Hong Dumplings & Beef Noodles" mainly sells two things: dumplings and beef noodles. The prices aren’t exactly super cheap, even for the raw ones. While you might find similar prices elsewhere, the dumplings here tend to be a bit bigger.

I sneakily sat near the stall and watched the owner make the dumplings. Hong Dumplings specializes in chive dumplings — which might turn some people off just hearing that — but surprisingly, even those who usually don’t like chives seem to enjoy theirs.
