This year’s invitational race will feature approximately 4,000 athletes from 14 countries and regions, competing for a total of 24 championship titles. This year’s “Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival” will offer both tourists and locals a grand dragon boat party.

The “Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival” features seven major highlights:


1. High-Stakes Racing on the Water: The competition lanes are set up along the Central Harbourfront, where sun-soaked athletes from around the world battle it out on the water.
2. Unique “Best Dressed Competition”: On June 12, the “Best Dressed Competition” will take place, with participants showing off creative outfits to add fun and flair to the dragon boat races.
3. New Photo Spots: The venue will feature specially designed dragon boat displays and exhibitions of dragon boat drums. An 11-meter-long dragon boat will make its debut in a fresh new look, alongside standard dragon boat drums. Visitors can take photos while cheering on their favorite teams, helping to create an energetic and exciting atmosphere. Additionally, the “San Miguel Beer Festival” will introduce a new “Beer Bottle Dragon Boat Photo Zone” and “Mini Human-Powered Race Cars.”
4. Energetic Music Parties: Popular local and international singers and renowned DJs will perform at the “San Miguel Beer Festival.”
5. Brand-New “Family Fun Zone”: Offering a variety of interactive games, including giant inflatable attractions and mini rowboats, all available free to the public.
6. Exciting Performances: The venue will host mobile performances such as clown acrobatics, marching bands, African drumming, and samba dancing to keep the festive mood going.
