Following the viral success of its Van Gogh-themed room in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, Airbnb has collaborated with the Aquarium de Paris to offer a 360-degree transparent room where guests can sleep surrounded by 35 sharks—and even score a round-trip flight to Paris.

On the accommodation-sharing platform Airbnb, anyone can rent out their spare space as a host to earn income. Compared to traditional hotels, Airbnb often features surprisingly unique stays. This free stay campaign, a collaboration between Airbnb and the Aquarium de Paris in France, is set to invite three lucky guests between April 11 and 13 to spend the night in a 360-degree transparent room surrounded by sharks.

The experience takes place in a glass room located ten meters underwater in the aquarium’s shark tank. The room features a circular double bed for guests to sleep in, surrounded by sharks. In addition to the overnight stay, guests will be treated to dinner and an aquarium tour guided by renowned shark expert Fred Buyle, who will dive into the tank to introduce shark behavior. The aim is to reshape public perceptions of sharks—whether you fear them or love them, this is a once-in-a-lifetime, fascinating stay.
