The event also invited the design director of TRAVELER’S notebook to Taiwan on its opening day to share the brand’s design philosophy and innovations. Design Director Atsuhiko Iijima and designer Mizubo Hashimoto found various elements of Taiwan fresh and fascinating. Mr. Iijima noted that travel is full of the unexpected, and observing and documenting these surprises makes the journey all the more interesting. Ms. Hashimoto, meanwhile, found many aspects of Taiwan—especially the food and traditional elements—deeply engaging, serving as key inspiration for her Taiwan-themed creations and designs.
