To accommodate the increased passenger traffic during Mother’s Day in 2016, Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) will operate a total of 97 additional train services across all lines from Friday, May 6, 2016, to Monday, May 9, 2016 — a four-day period. Among them, on the Eastern Line there will be 30 Tzu-Chiang Limited Express services, 17 Chu-Kuang Express services, 4 Fu-Hsing Semi-Express services, and 1 Local Train service, totaling 52 services. On the Western Line there will be 26 Tzu-Chiang Limited Express services, 12 Chu-Kuang Express services, and 2 Fu-Hsing Semi-Express services, totaling 40 services. On the South-Link Line, 1 Chu-Kuang Express service and 4 Fu-Hsing Semi-Express services will be added, totaling 5 services.
