After nearly 14 years, the funniest Greek family is back. The official sequel to the romantic comedy that made box office history — "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" — "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" is set to hit theaters with laughs on May 20. This installment reunites the original cast, with star and co-writer Nia Vardalos spending three years crafting the script. Once again, she “sells out her family,” bringing back her hilarious parents for some multigenerational fun and to spark more creative inspiration.

"My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" follows a couple who, many years after overcoming cultural differences between Greece and America to tie the knot in a grand Greek wedding, find their relationship growing stale, with conversations revolving only around their daughter — and decide to rekindle their love.

They also discover that Toula’s parents’ 50-year-old wedding contract was never actually formalized. Faced with various challenges, Toula and Ian will, with the help of their hilariously over-the-top Greek family, throw an even bigger and more spectacular Greek wedding for their parents.
