Covering a land area of 8.7 hectares (26,400 pyeong), one-third of which is allocated to Suzuka Circuit Park, Dayeh Takao Outlet Mall is developed under an exclusive overseas license from Japan’s Suzuka Raceway. It features a variety of family-friendly amusement facilities that not only provide educational fun but are also loved by both adults and children. The remaining two-thirds is dedicated to the shopping mall area, with a commercial floor space of approximately 34,600 pyeong. The development adopts a low-density approach, featuring only three above-ground floors and one basement level, allowing visitors to enjoy views of the blue sky and greenery. The indoor spaces are bright, spacious, and comfortable, rivaling large-scale international malls. It has been certified with the Green Building Silver Label and has unanimously won the praise of the National Excellence in Construction Awards jury, receiving the 2015 “Gold Award” in the Public Construction category for Best Planning and Design.

“Dayeh Takao Outlet Mall and Suzuka Circuit Park” are themed around European architectural styles. The entrance plaza area features grand, classical European buildings, while the outdoor streetscape creates a romantic and elegant European ambiance. It also introduces a classic handcrafted antique-style amusement park tram and an exquisitely classical carousel; this carousel can accommodate up to 88 people, making it the largest in Taiwan. Its most distinctive feature is the realistic, 1:10 scale replica of Japan’s Suzuka Raceway’s figure-eight circuit, as well as family-oriented amusement facilities imported from Japan, focusing on transportation themes, hands-on control, and educational fun. It is also Taiwan’s first entry-free theme park, eliminating the burden of admission tickets so that families can enjoy a more relaxed and carefree experience.

Mr. Tsai Ming-chang, Chairman of Dayeh Development Co., Ltd., stated that “Dayeh Takao Outlet Mall and Suzuka Circuit Park” is currently the largest base development project adjacent to a city metro station in Taiwan. It will become a new landmark for tourism in Kaohsiung. With the convenience brought by deep collaboration with the Kaohsiung MRT and the Easycard, it is projected to attract 6 million visitors via the MRT annually, bringing over 3.6 million domestic and international tourists, with total annual visitors to Takao Outlet Mall expected to exceed 12 million. Not only does it offer consumers an international, entirely new type of shopping experience, but Dayeh Development is also highly confident in its performance. Moreover, Takao Outlet Mall will create over 5,000 job opportunities for Kaohsiung and provide residents with a new choice for high-quality leisure and consumption.
