From October 10–13, 2013, the 3rd Asian Bicycle Exhibition will be held in Nanjing. This year, the Asian Bicycle Exhibition has taken a major step forward, with the number of exhibitors increasing by approximately 47% compared to last year, establishing it as the premier professional exhibition for sports and high-end bicycles in China.
This year’s Asian Bicycle Exhibition covers an indoor area of 26,000 square meters and an outdoor area of 10,000 square meters, marking a 51% increase in scale compared to 2012. Moreover, the internationalization level of this year’s event has risen once again, with numerous global brands making their appearances, such as BMC, BH, Bianchi, Bergamont, Cervelo, Colnago, Cannondale, Continental, GT, Corratec, Cube, Deuter, Haibike, Ghost, Pinarello, Shimano, Specialized, Scott, Tern, Vaude, and X-Bionic, all showcasing their latest products and technologies.

Mr. Jaeger, advisor to the Asian Bicycle Exhibition, said: “The first two editions of the Asian Bicycle Exhibition were held concurrently with the Asia Outdoor Exhibition in July. This year, for the first time, the two exhibitions have been separated, and the Asian Bicycle Exhibition has been moved to October 10–13. This timing is ideal for bicycle brands to launch their latest 2014 models. With this adjustment, the Asian Bicycle Exhibition is better positioned to drive the development of China's domestic cycling industry, becoming a truly professional exhibition in the Chinese sports bicycle market.” Organizers expect this year’s bicycle exhibition to attract 12,000 professional visitors. Mr. Li Hao, Project Director of the Asian Bicycle Exhibition, added: “Nanjing in October offers crisp autumn weather—perfect for cycling. With the support of the Nanjing Municipal Government, we are hosting a Demo Day on October 9, the day before the exhibition, at the Zhongshan Mausoleum Sports Park in Nanjing. The event invites bicycle dealers, agents, clubs, VIPs, and media friends to participate in test rides. Nanjing is a city with great potential for cycling. The last two days of the exhibition (October 12–13) are public days open to the general public and are expected to attract even more cycling enthusiasts.”
In addition to brand and product displays, the exhibition site will feature a series of engaging activities for attendees, including lectures and industry forums—targeted discussions for professionals and cycling enthusiasts on various themes, fashion shows—dynamic showcases of each brand’s cycling apparel, outdoor test tracks—dedicated lanes for testing mountain bikes, road bikes, and E-bikes, and special exhibitions—showcases of luxury, high-end, and innovative bicycles, which are sure to capture the attention of both audiences and the media once again.
