The Ikebukuro branch of Blue Bottle Coffee faces the lush greenery of Minami-Ikebukuro Park, making it one of the rare branches set directly opposite a park. It covers an area of 65.01 square meters and is scheduled to open on March 22, 2019.
The Ikebukuro branch of Blue Bottle Coffee also actively participated in the “nest marche” held on February 16 at Minami-Ikebukuro Park. Through this coffee-themed market event, the brand made its first appearance in the Ikebukuro shopping district.
In addition, the earlier-opened Blue Bottle Coffee Kanda branch (ブルーボトルコーヒー 神田万世橋店), Japan’s 11th location, opened on December 7, 2018. It occupies a smaller space of 24.91 square meters and adds a fresh coffee atmosphere to the already retro-modern vibe of the Kanda Manseibashi area.
Since arriving in Tokyo in 2015, Blue Bottle Coffee has successively opened stores in Kyoto, Kobe, and other locations. In Tokyo, its branches are located in Shirogane, Aoyama, Shinjuku, Roppongi, Nakameguro, Shinagawa, Sangenjaya, Meguro, and now Ikebukuro, bringing the total number of stores in Japan to 12 and globally to 69.
