Hong Kong International Airport will charge departing, transit, and transfer passengers HK$70 to HK$180 for tickets issued on or after August 1. The fee structure is determined by flight distance, ticket class, and passenger category, with revenues going toward the expansion of the third runway system. Additionally, landing and parking fees for airlines will be raised starting September 1.

Departing
1. Long-haul routes: Economy class HK$160; First/Business class HK$180
2. Short-haul routes: Economy class HK$90; First/Business class HK$160
Transit/Transfer
1. Long-haul routes: Economy class HK$160; First/Business class HK$180
2. Short-haul routes: Economy class HK$70; First/Business class HK$160
Long-haul: Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Southwest Pacific, and the Indian subcontinent
Short-haul: All destinations other than long-haul ones
