The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest and longest coral reef system, located along the northeastern coast of Australia in the South Pacific. Stretching approximately 2,600 kilometers, it comprises around 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands of varying sizes, spread across an area of about 344,400 square kilometers. Its unique natural landscape makes it a highly popular tourist attraction.
