Nantou County’s Xinyi Township hosts a Grape Festival and Water Skiing Carnival, featuring Asia’s longest 700-meter water slide facility. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful vineyards on both sides, breathe in fresh air, and experience the thrill of sliding down winding paths.

Xinyi Township is known for its Kyoho grapes. To promote local agricultural products, the township office organized the “Grape Festival and Water Skiing Carnival,” laying out a 700-meter inflatable water slide along the old Provincial Highway 21 within the village. From July 13 to August 21, visitors can savor delicious Kyoho grapes while enjoying the refreshing and exciting fun of water sliding in the summer heat.

Participation in the water slide activity is by reservation or on-site registration. Ticket pricing includes the “Double Fun Combo” (water slide and Glass Light Bridge): NT$500 on weekdays, NT$700 on holidays, and NT$300 during sunset hours (3pm–5pm). Additionally, residents of Xinyi Township can enter at NT$200 at any time except holidays, offering a great summer family escape from the heat.
