The “Golden Sea Pearl” is a public art installation built after the restoration of Qijin Coastal Park. Visitors can freely bike around and spot this huge golden shell shining in the sunlight from afar. Sit down in front of the Golden Sea Pearl, and you can leisurely listen to and watch the sea. Walk through the trumpet-shaped golden tunnel, and you’ll find hidden surprises on both sides — get close and you can hear the rumbling sound of the tides rising and falling.

Aside from the beautiful public artworks, you can also head to the first and second floor observation deck restaurants at the Qijin Ferry Terminal, where large floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views of the harbor, allowing you to get an up-close look at the majestic sight of large ships entering the port. Additionally, the entrance plaza of Qijin Beach is landscaped with plenty of palm plants, marine life-themed art installations, and a white sand pit area, complementing the mountain-and-sea scenery of Qijin with a touch of tropical charm.
