Rows of golden-yellow flower spikes glisten in the sunlight, absolutely enchanting. Due to the mild winter, the lupines have burst into bloom ahead of time, prompting an early launch of the 2019 “Loving Lupines” season. Besides taking in the expansive fields of yellow, blue, and white lupines, visitors can also enjoy a slow-paced Hakka countryside experience, snap photos with landscape art, and savor authentic Hakka cuisine. Nestled among the tea trees, the small yet radiant lupine flowers create their own beauty, and ultimately contribute to the growth and development of other crops through their collective regenerative power—before being plowed back into the soil as green manure (Photo/2019 Loving Lupines, the same below).
The "2019 Loving Lupines Season" includes three major exhibition areas: Longtan Dabeikeng, Sanshui, and Sanhe communities, with nearly 20 hectares planted in lupines. In addition to golden yellow, there are also blue and white lupines that shine brilliantly.
Lupines are also known as the "Hakka mother flower."
