Situated in Hsinchu City, the “19-Hectare Qingqing Grassland” has constructed the longest terrazzo slide in northern Taiwan. It officially opened on July 29. With a total length of 54 meters, the slide is divided into four sections following the contour of the hill. Its design also complies with amusement facility safety standards, making it a perfect spot for family fun.

Qingqing Grassland is a popular springtime attraction in Hsinchu. The city government allocated a budget of NT$22.5 million to improve the recreational facilities at Qingqing Grassland. Along the slope of the hill, they designed the longest terrazzo slide in northern Taiwan, and added play platforms and treehouses, aiming to help children build physical strength and stimulate creativity while playing.

The Hsinchu City Government has built a children’s playground and bird-watching education area, installing four large colorful terrazzo slides, a children’s climbing net, a bird-watching treehouse, and a children’s voice tube, among other play facilities. The longest terrazzo slide has a slide run of 54 meters, and a tap water system and streetlights have been installed along the full 3-kilometer pathway. The goal is to create the most popular outdoor parent-child park in northern Taiwan.
