Through the Taichung City Government’s “Rising Stars, Dreaming Taichung” initiative, 108 young people were recruited to start businesses in locations such as Zhai Xing Villa (Tanzi District), Guangfu New Village (Wufeng District), and Audit New Village (West District) in Taichung, primarily in fields such as e-commerce and cultural creativity. Among them, the existing buildings in Audit New Village have been renovated and decorated through special projects to become shops or residences, transforming into a “youth innovation base.” It has recently become an increasingly popular attraction in Taichung.

Audit New Village was built between 1969 and 1972 as staff family housing during the provincial government era. Currently, the area hosts cafes, dessert studios, bookstores, as well as numerous shops and DIY craft teaching spaces. These offer visitors more services, goods, and ideas to explore while relaxing in the historic community. Exhibitions and restaurants are also highly popular. The nostalgic space combined with a modern creative shop business model brings a brand-new experience to Audit New Village.
