The 2.3-hectare yellow cosmos flower sea at Sanchong Happy Water Park is in full bloom, attracting many passing motorcyclists or strolling visitors to stop and admire or take photos. With the blooming period nearing its end, to maximize public benefit, starting today the park is offering free flower-picking for visitors.

The New Taipei City Government allows visitors to bring their own planting tools to Happy Water Park to select their favorite flowers to “take home,” allowing these lovely blooms to flourish in everyone’s homes and bringing a touch of happiness to family life.

The New Taipei City Government also reminds flower-pickers to be mindful of their own safety and that of other visitors when using scissors or other sharp tools. Additionally, as flowers may attract small animals or insects such as bees, visitors should exercise caution when picking them.
