Following the ERC Cafe X and Diyuan Chicken Coop container restaurant in Taipei’s Neihu district, another container juice shop DeJuice opened in Taipei’s Zhongshan District this August.

The black container features an ordering window and a barrel-shaped drinking area, providing a space to sit and wait or take a short rest.

DeJuice makes its juices by blending organic frozen strawberries and apples with milk and ice on the spot. Staff kindly remind customers to stir well before drinking. However, it seems the ratio of fruit,milk, and ice might not have been quite right,because although the drink has a lovely gradient effect, the overall taste is a bit watery and bland, which is somewhat disappointing. The “If There Were No Berries” flavor costs $90.

DeJuice is located in a small alley on Section 2 of Chengde Road, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Zhongshan MRT Station. Right across from the shop is Zhongshan District’s Jiancheng Park.
