Shin Kong Mitsukoshi New World is hosting the “Touch the KYUSHU Kyushu Products Exhibition.” On the opening day, September 1 (Thursday), the most popular mascot in Kyushu—Minister Kumamon—is specially invited to appear. The first 50 participants will have the chance to receive a mysterious Kumamon lucky bag!
The venue is divided into sections representing Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima, showcasing local specialties and famous products. There’s also a virtual reality tour of Kyushu, free tastings of Kyushu food and drinks, exquisite handicrafts, and authentic matcha experiences. The exhibition is packed with rich content full of Kyushu flavor.
