Jamie's Italian officially opened its first Taiwanese branch in Taipei’s Xinyi District in mid-November this year, sure to excite fans of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. The already restaurant-packed Xinyi District is set to become an even hotter destination, offering great benefits to food lovers.

The creation of Jamie's Italian came from a collaboration between Jamie Oliver and his mentor and friend Gennaro Contaldo, with the aim of sharing the joys of Italian cuisine with more people. The first Jamie's Italian opened in Oxford, UK in 2008, and now there are 42 branches across the UK and over 25 globally in various cities.

Jamie's Italian was introduced to Taiwan by Hong Kong’s Big Cat Group and opened its first branch in mid-November 2016, located at Taipei’s Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store A11.
Jamie’s Italian is known for its affordable, authentic, rustic Italian cuisine. It uses the highest quality and most reliable local ingredients, including freshly made pasta every day. Following openings in Hong Kong and Singapore, the brand has now entered the Taiwan market, allowing locals to enjoy Jamie-style Italian fare — sure to start a new culinary trend.
