Taipei Marriott Hotel keeps rolling out exciting updates—the newly opened “INGE’S” restaurant on the 20th floor takes inspiration from femininity, infusing the entire design and ambiance of the venue to overturn conventional stereotypes of barbecue restaurants. In addition to its indoor space, INGE’S also features an outdoor dining area that offers a 270-degree view of Taipei’s day and night scenery, along with the dazzling neon lights of the city’s skyscrapers after dark—painting another beautiful and vibrant side of the “Taipei riverside”!

Upon entering INGE’S, the first thing you see is the bar area. Dining guests can choose to enjoy their meals on comfortable sofas or opt for a private room for an intimate and delightful gathering. There’s also the “Grill Show Kitchen,” a spacious open kitchen paired with 26 high-top bar seats, allowing guests to closely experience the professional grill team’s culinary artistry and the five-sensory feast brought by live flames.

To deliver the most authentic and flavorful grilling experience, the restaurant invested nearly NT$3.7 million to import the GRILLWORKS grill from the U.S.—a dream grill that combines both grilling and hearth-roasting functions. Using cooking methods such as charcoal, fire, and smoking, it locks in the full sweetness of the ingredients while emitting a subtle hint of wood aroma. The chef’s flame-control skills are also essential, requiring a hands-on feel to gauge the optimal heat level.
